Cultural Awareness Corvette Weekend 2023

The NCM Motorsports Park has graciously set aside August 16 - 19, 2023 for CACW Participants to take advantage of NCM Motorsports Track Packages below. If there are still available driving slots after July 11, those slots will revert back to the public. Please schedule ASAP if interested! No experience required to have big fun! • C8 Touring Laps: Test out the performance of America’s sports car on our 3.2-mile racetrack! Drive a C8 Corvette on track in a lead/follow format for 4 laps. • Corvette Bundle Touring Laps: The NCM Motorsports Park introduces a new experience for the upcoming driving season…the Corvette Bundle! This product showcases the performance capabilities of both the C7 and C8 Corvettes. Guest will have the opportunity get behind the wheel of both cars for four laps each on the 3.2-mile, 23 turn track. This lead/follow experience is packed with exciting speeds, high adrenaline, and lots of fun. • C7 Touring Laps: Test out the performance of America’s sports car on our 3.2-mile racetrack! Drive a C7 Corvette on track in a lead/follow format for 4 laps. • CACW Touring Laps: Drive your own car in a lead/follow format for 4 laps on the 3.2-mile road course above highway speeds! Individuals and car clubs of all models are welcome. • Corvette Experience : If you love cars–Corvettes in particular–love the adrenaline of high-speed thrills and blind corners, never driven on a racetrack or the opposite and you tow your rig to a nearby track every weekend – no matter your skill level, the Corvette Experience is for you! The Corvette Experience is a streamlined experiential driving school that lets you loose on the 3.2-mile racetrack in a C8 Corvette for alternating track sessions totaling an hour behind the wheel and an hour learning the ropes from track certified instructors. To top it off, the Corvette Experience also includes lunch and a tour of the iconic National Corvette Museum. Participants only but you are welcome to book any open slots.

GM Bowling Green Assembly/ National Corvette Museum Tour The Corvette Plant tours are now open. The National Corvette Museum (NCM) is handling the tour packages. This is not a CACW event. Important details: • 13 Plant tours per day from 08:15 am – 2:45 pm (CST) • Plant Tours are not available on weekends and during specific blackout dates. • Plant Tours will start in 15 minutes increments starting at 08:15 (CST) • Plant Tours are 1 hour and 30 minutes • Plant Tours are a maximum of 15 people NCM Membership discount is applied when tickets are added to the cart • Plant and Museum tours are included as a combo ticket and must be used on the same day • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to Tour time. • Plant tours begin at the assembly plant (600 Corvette Drive) • Bring printed tickets with you; phones are not allowed in the plant • Plant Tours are not available on weekends and during specific blackout dates • No cameras, phones, tablets, or other electronic devices are allowed. No purses, bags, or totes (unless for medical reasons) allowed • All attendees must wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. No high heels are permitted • Children must be 13 years or older • Wheelchairs available at no charge • No walking assists allowed on plant tour (canes, walkers, crutches, etc.) • All non-UAW-built vehicles must park in lot C3 • Occasionally, due to circumstances outside of the National Corvette Museum’s control, the plant may not be in normal production during part (or all) of your visit. Your scheduled tour will continue with your guide, sharing the full assembly process. Refunds and discounts do not apply We suggest you schedule ASAP to ensure a spot!

Race on over to the NCM Kartplex and battle it out against your family and friends in the high-speed go-karts! Simply arrive and drive any time within the public hours of operation, based on availability and weather conditions. Karts and safety equipment provided. ** The NCM Motorsports Park is offering two karting sessions for $35.00. You have to have your CACW armband to prove CACW Classic & VIP Registration

CACW Participants and Volunteers will engage and interact with the local Bowling Green youth from the Housing Authority Learning Center, Boys & Girls Club and the Parker Bennett Community Center fostering a sense of excitement and inspiration through our theme, "The Corvette - Today's Dream and Tomorrow's Reality." During the youth event, CACW will provide pizza, offer door prizes, and distribute goodie bags to all the youth participants. It is our sincere hope that this event will create lasting memories and serve as a positive influence on the community's youth.

Golfing Brothers and Sisters: Cross Winds Golf Club has opened up tee-times for CACW members for Friday morning.
